Shot Timer
Shots aren't detected, or echoes are counted
Open Settings › Microphone › Auto-calibrate at the range, holding the phone where you normally keep it. If echoes are still counted, raise Echo hold-off; if shots are missed, raise Mic sensitivity.
I can't hear the beep
Turn the iPhone volume all the way up. On Apple Watch, the beep uses the watch's media volume: raise it in Control Center (or with the Digital Crown while audio plays), and turn Silent Mode off. With ear muffs, choose the Low · 1.5 kHz tone in Settings › Start beep — it passes through hearing protection best. On Apple Watch you also get a strong wrist tap at the start signal.
The Apple Watch says “Open Shot Timer on your iPhone”
The Watch is a remote for the iPhone app, which does the listening. Keep Shot Timer open on the iPhone.
Restore my purchase
Settings › Purchase › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple account. The lifetime unlock is also shared with your Family Sharing group.
